CONSUMER HEALTH DATA PRIVACY POLICY

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how KOBP Fitness LLC ("KOBP Fitness," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and deletes consumer health data through the KOBP Strength apps, kobpfitness.com, and app.kobpfitness.com (the "Service"). It is provided under the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and similar state laws, and it supplements our Privacy Policy.
In short: we use your health data only to provide the training features you use. We share it only with Anthropic, PBC (the AI provider behind Coach AI) and with the hosting provider that stores it on our behalf. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never send it to analytics providers.
1. Consumer Health Data We Collect
- Body measurements — body weight and body weight history, entered by you or imported from Apple Health / Health Connect
- Vital signs and bodily functions — resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep duration, VO2 Max (iOS only), active energy, and per-workout average heart rate, read from Apple Health or Health Connect with your permission
- Exercise data — logged lifts, sets, reps, weights, and dates; strength-training sessions read from Apple Health or Health Connect
- Health conditions and symptoms you describe — anything in your session notes, such as pain or injuries
- Inferences — Coach AI analyses (including recovery and intensity assessments), training goal, and Coach Memory facts derived from your notes (for example "avoid overhead press — shoulder pain")

- You, when you log workouts, write notes, enter body weight, or add Coach Memory facts
- Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), only after you grant permission
- Our Service, which generates analyses and Coach Memory using Anthropic's Claude API
3. How We Use It
- To store and sync your training history across your devices
- To generate Coach AI analyses, weekly plans, adherence scores, lift predictions, and Coach Memory
- To show leaderboards and share links, only for lifters you choose to opt in or share
We do not use consumer health data for advertising, marketing, profiling unrelated to the features you use, or analytics.
4. Consent
We collect and share consumer health data only with your consent, except where it is necessary to provide a feature you have requested:
- Apple Health / Health Connect — read only after you accept the in-app notice and grant permission in the system permission screen
- Sharing with Anthropic for Coach AI — requires you to confirm the Coach AI data notice before your first analysis. The Premium weekly analysis uses the same data.
- Leaderboards and share links — only when you opt a lifter in or create a link
You can withdraw consent at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy, where AI sharing and Coach Memory are separate toggles — you can keep using AI training analysis while turning off Coach Memory, or the reverse. You can also revoke Apple Health or Health Connect access in your device settings, clear existing Coach Memory facts, opt out of leaderboards, or revoke share links. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and sharing; to delete data already collected, see section 7. Turning off AI sharing when it was already running (for example, an existing Premium weekly analysis) takes effect the next time you open the app.
5. Who We Share It With
- Anthropic, PBC — processes training data, notes, body weight, Coach Memory, and (if permitted) Apple Health / Health Connect recovery data to generate Coach AI results. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, this data is not used to train Anthropic's models.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts and stores the data on our behalf
- The public — only for lifters you opt in to the leaderboards (display name, body weight, top sets, weekly totals) or share by link
- Authorities — only when required by law
We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data. We do not sell consumer health data.
6. Retention
Consumer health data is kept until you delete it or delete your account, except: the latest Coach AI analysis is cached for up to 7 days; leaderboard data expires 90 days after your last activity; share links expire after 90 days; and raw Apple Health / Health Connect readings other than body weight are not stored on our servers. 7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Confirm and access — confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, get a copy of it, and get a list of every third party and affiliate we have shared it with, with an email address or other way to contact them
- Delete — have your consumer health data deleted, including by the providers who process it for us. You can delete Coach Memory and cloud data in Settings, delete your whole account in the app, or ask us.
- Withdraw consent — as described in section 4
- Appeal — if we refuse your request, reply to our decision to appeal. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general (for Washington residents, the Washington State Office of the Attorney General).
To make a request, email hello@kobpfitness.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 45 days, which we may extend once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, and we will tell you if we do. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
